I've decided I'm getting one for DDog but can't decide between mesh and canvas.

Can anyone help please? TIA! 😁

It's feel canvas will be easier to clean? Mesh may gather dirt you won't be able to get out the holes!

A mesh one would be good particularly for dogs with longer coats as they appreciate the air flow and for dogs that get dirty and wet on a regular basis. It is also ideal for dogs with allergies as stops dust mites from breeding in bedding while dust and hair drops through the mesh which makes it easy to clean.

A canvas one would of course have a softer feel for your dog and easily machine washable.

We have had a mesh one since March, bought for our very elderly Airedale ( who was a bit smelly) and we got the padded topper which is fully washable on top - mesh bed is great, non smelling and easy to clean
