Poorly PenisDog - what's the best wet food.

Pagwatch · 07/07/2017 10:55

Hi
Our beloved penisDog has a mass in his mouth which is being investigted but, in the meantime, he is struggling to eat his usual food because the area is sore. He has lost weight and muscle and needs feeding up while we find out what's going on
I grabbed some tins of caragen and simply wet food. Caragen seemed better quality but I need to get something in bulk - what is the best wet food that I can get delivered?
Any advice welcome

Have you looked at allaboutdogfood.co.uk?

You can put in you want wet and go for the higher scores. I use Millie's Wolfheart dry but I know they do wet and you can pay for next day delivery or 3-5 days free delivery.

I recently put a dog on to Millies Wolfheart Salmon & Potato tins after she had a lot of teeth removed. It's very soft and went down well.

Forthglade trays are excellent and are very reasonably priced for how high quality they are.

Natures Menu Country Hunter tins are also great and have a very soft consistency.

That's really helpful
Thank you!

Natures menu do pouches that are very nice , according to Floraldog . He has the chicken and rabbit light ones with his Millie's kibble a few times a week .

Floralnomad · 07/07/2017 14:19

Forgot to say they do deliver .

I'd second forthglade, it's on offer in morrisons at the moment or usually good value on zooplus. Hope your dog feels better soon!

I'm going to try a couple over the next few weeks and see how he goes

I order direct from Forthglade and they very frequently do money off deals. They deliver pretty quick as well.

Millies Wolfheart tins are really good and they do lots of different varieties these days.

It's also worth looking at Zooplus for some of the high meat content European brands as they're often very cheap for the quality, although they often have quite a lot of offal in them which doesn't suit all dogs. Rinti, Bozita, Rocco, Lukullus, Animonda GranCarno and Terra Canis are all worth a look.

Truckingalong · 07/07/2017 20:34

Another Forthglade recommendation. Excellent quality for the price.

picklemepopcorn · 07/07/2017 21:00

Natures menu do great raw blocks. They won't unsettle his tummy either, like a tinned food can.

PantPlot · 07/07/2017 21:03

Forthglade.

My dog loves the forthglade trays and she is the fussiest madam going. I think she thinks it's human food, therefore acceptable.
