How much do you pay for vaccines

My dogs are due their vaccines next week. Lepto and kennel cough. And this is setting me back £75

Is this about right or am I being ripped off (I think there is some kind of 'health check' they charge for the privilege of too)

Our 3 year old spaniel had her boosters last month and they were £65 so depending which part of the country you're in it doesn't sound too far out.

How unreasonable, they should offer their services free like all other professionals, oh wait Hmm

Seriously, don't want to pay vet fees, don't have a pet.

fannydaggerz · 07/07/2017 12:42

We pay £12 a month with our vet and that covers kennel cough, lepto booster, worming and flea tablets for the year plus two vet visits with free nail clipping.

Bazookapie · 07/07/2017 12:51

Our dog had her booster last month with kennel cough stuff and it was £59.50. The vet did also did a health check - listened to her heart, checked her teeth and ears etc. We are in the south east.

£75 paid this week. Ouch! Worth every penny.

TheFlyingFauxPas · 07/07/2017 18:05

Vets4pets do vax for life for £100.

MarcoPoloCX · 07/07/2017 18:06

I was 35 quid for Lepto.
If your dog is strong and healthy and you don't use daycare I wouldn't bother with KC.

x2boys · 07/07/2017 18:14

it cost me £60 for my puppys two lots of injections, health check and worm and flea preventative treatment.

Ridingthegravytrain · 07/07/2017 18:41

Thanks. I called around some local vets and they are expensive

They have to go into kennels else I wouldn't bother with KC @marcopolocx
