Not quite expected as I was due to adopt a tiny girl from Romania in the future, however this 6 year old local girl needed a new home after her elderly owner became ill, is in hospital and will be unable to cope with her.

So she arrived today, instantly started playing fetch with DS and has done for the past hour and a half!! She's as well behaved and friendly as described and is just lovely!

But what is she? Small Border Collie with floppy ears or Border cross something else?

How sweet, what a lovely face. She even looks a bit spaniel ish in her bottom half.

KoalaDownUnder · 26/06/2017 14:34

Aww. She's a good and pretty pupper, that's what she is!

Wolfiefan · 26/06/2017 14:36

I too thought the speckly legs looked a bit spaniely!
She's lovely.

Yeah, that's what I thought with the speckled legs! She is absolutely lovely and obviously recognises Bonio boxesGrin

I know a lot about different breeds and I can guarantee you that she is one adorable doggo

Kidssendingmenuts · 26/06/2017 14:45

She looks like a jack Russell crossed with either a spaniel or a collie. X

I've been incredibly lucky here! She's brilliantly behaved, well trained and rather clever.

She knows the difference between the words 'food' and 'drink' and will vocally respond to which she's asking for (she was guzzling yesterday after her journey!) , has already learnt to go to my son if I tell her to 'go to xxxx' when I can't have her ball etc. No need for a dog gate, no crate, she's a perfect girl who does as she's told and asks for help to get her ball etc and brilliant off lead too :D

She did have awful wind though!!!

Gorgeous ❤️.

I have heard there is such a thing as a honeymoon period though; the dog is on their best behaviour for a few weeks in new surroundings 😀.

I'm in love! She is gorgeous.

If she has wind you may want to cut out grain/cereals. And bakers biscuits -
Miphound can clear a room when he has them!
