Ddog pts this evening

Took ddog to the vet as she has been off her food the last few days. Turns out she had a mass around her liver and kidneys and an internal bleed. Devastated

Im so sorry. I know how much it hurts. And the shock.

If you seriously needed to talk to someone the Blue Cross did have a number you can ring.

I'm so sorry. We had a similar heartbreak with our DDog - normal, then 'off her food' for a day or two, and then downhill overnight - and the vet told us that the mercy of that type of cancer in dogs is that it's very, very quick, and that there was almost nothing realistic we could have done, even if it had been caught earlier.

She'd know you were there at the end, and it'll have made it easier for her. Flowers

So sorry. We lost our old boy to cancer, in the space of about two weeks. It is sudden but at least you get to say goodbye. Hugs. Flowers

Thank you all, I have been keeping myself busy so haven't been back to this thread. The house feels really strange and the cats are searching for her and upset. I know that it will get better
