Odd behaviour; season, teenage stuff?

My 7 month Standard Poodle bitch has been acting differently the last couple of days. Including; suddenly chewing the lining in the boot of the car, demanding more playtime, running further away when out and today she rubbed herself along the sofa, me and then my daughter. She also seems to need less sleep in the daytime. She has a real twinkle of mischief in her eye!! Any thoughts?

I don't know anything about poodles, but could she be at the age where she is maybe coming into her first season?

That could explain eating the boot (nesting), running away (searching for a mate) and the rubbing
