Puppy Sitting

I'm looking after my friends puppy this weekend for the first time, he's 6 months.

I am not enjoying it at all!

So far he's shat 4 times indoors, fortunately in the kitchen on the lino, peed one and thrown up.

When I take him for a walk or our round the block for a pee he doesn't want to walk at all, he wants to drink puddles and sniff every piece of litter we see and just sit down to observe the world. It's been raining all day long so while I'd usually be happy to go to the park to sit in with him I am less enthusiastic today.

I know it's not his fault, but I wish he'd pee and shit outside, we go out every hour for that very reason....he goes home tomorrow night but is very cute otherwise!

Could he be missing his mummy.
Bless him.

I think that's definitely a factor. New surroundings, new-ish routine and new smells are probably overwhelming poor guy. It's hard work though, I completely underestimated this! Confused
