Dogs arsehole problems

MovingtoParadise · 02/05/2017 08:28

Dog is constantly biting her arsehole since yesterday. It's a tiny bit red in one spot. There are no worms or eggs in her poo.

Any chance she just sat on a nettle or do I have to take her to the vet?

Is there any cream I could put on it to stop what I guess is an itch/irritation?

I've actually looked up her arse too (that was fun) and there's no worms at all.

I would take her to the vets

There's a sore area and it's been over 24 hours. Definitely get it checked out

Worm eggs can only be seen under a microscope.

Nibbling at the bottom is often full anal glands so I would get those checked. It can be quite painful for them.
