Weaning off raw food

Hello, we've very recently brought a GSD puppy home, he's 8 and a half weeks.
The breeder had him on a raw food diet but for various reasons we would like to feed him dry food instead.
I've seen a lot of mixed opinions online about doing this and I can't get my round it.
What is the best way for us to wean him off raw?

Cold turkey.
Best not to mix and kiddies with raw.
This is what people do when they switch from dry to raw so I'd do the same going the other way.

You may have a few days of runny poo depending on how it adjusts to the new food.

Can I ask why you wish to take him off raw?

It's the best thing you could ever feed him. Dry food is nothing compared to raw. Even the expensive brands.
