So sorry Mary. It's so bloody hard, but ultimately the best thing for him. My gorgeous Border Collie was PTS nearly 12 yrs ago, but you never forget them...

I'm so sorry. I lost my beautiful spaniel girl a couple of months ago, aged 13. I know we did the right thing, though it doesn't stop me missing her desperately every day. Letting them go is the most loving thing we can do. The grief is an index of how lucky we were to have such wonderful creatures in our lives, albeit all too briefly

I'm so sorry - I hope today is as peaceful as it can be and you know you're doing the right thing for him, hard as it is for you
