Keeping dogs outside

I'm considering get two dogs probably GSD, Huskies or working type spaniels. I'd have them in the house when I'm there this would be all day twice possibly three times a week, but I don't want them left in when nobody's there so I'd like to keep them in the garden obviously with adequate shelter, food and water and toys. We have a safe fenced garden and either side have dogs and will keep an eye on them.

Our previous dogs we've had outside in the same conditions as above walked 3 times a day at least but left out for several hours a day unsupervised.

Any advice?

Seems a bit pointless to be honest.

we have had many of all three breeds previously from puppy to their last days I had forgotten to mention as well as other breeds

How old are you if you don't mind me asking OP? Most people only manage 2-3 adult dogs into their own adult lives (assuming the dog lives approx 15 years) So to fit in 'many' I'm assuming that you've housed multiple dogs outdoors before and therefore have kennels established?

In what ways has you lifestyle changed since? Why do you want these dogs? I'm assuming not as companions/pets? I'm going to go against the grain and say that if you are to house them like this, more than one would be better, otherwise it would be very isolated. But the training/exercise requirements would also increase significantly.

I don't have working dogs, mine have all (3!) been pets, I know I mentioned my brothers but they are proper working dogs and the kennels are ridiculously comfortable.

When he retired them, they go to my mams and spend there retirement with my mam's gang. He's always said he wouldn't keep an older dog outside.

I've attached a photo for the pointy fans, she was retired a month ago at 6 and has settled in the house fab. The black spaniel in the background is an ex worker too.
