My spaniel is 10, has never barked at anything other than our front door being knocked. Recently he barks at everything and sometimes at nothing- neighbours making noise/going in and out their flats, cars and people passing, our fridge making noises etc.
He's not long had a check-up and is fine, gets walked lots but is actually pretty lazy now so it isn't boredom. Why is he doing this and how do I stop it?
