Dog with diarrhoea

Ddog2 has had diarrhoea since Friday night. No vomiting, she is bouncy and her normal self. She is hungry and drinking. Should I be feeding her as normal

Personally I would fast her for 24 hours and then give plain chicken and rice for a few days. If she is still the same I would phone the vet if that doesn't work

Concur with Paula - feed plain chicken and rice (I usually poach chicken breasts so they retain water which she'll also need) for 24h and see how she is.

Hope she's ok!

Thank you. I'll starve her and then see how she does on chicken and rice.

They can get. Dh hydrated very quickly with diarrhoea, best to ring the vet

Some dogs can have issues with chicken, mine included. Try plain white fish and rush instead

toomuchtvandsocialmedia · 12/03/2017 16:13

Frozen white fish fillets were £1.50 a bag in Sainsbury's , so I will go with kinky's suggestion and try her with fish and rice. If she's not better after a couple of days I'll take her to the vet.

Get some pro-kaolin if you can too

It's a good probiotic for the gut specially for animals
