Best pram for dog walking?

Or did you just use a sling?

Mostly parks and woods, the wheels preferably need to be able to deal with a moderate amount of pebbles/mud/leaves. Bonus would be folds up easily (and small) so can fit in the boot with dog!

Any suggestions?

Out n About Nipper 360 all the way...have had the double and the single version over the years and it's brilliant. The single also folds up small enough (and wheels are really easy to remove) to fit into my boot with one of my big dogs.

We have an i candy apple and it goes off road everywhere, not small though!

Uppababy Vista is great across different terrain - good suspension. However, if I'm the one holding the dog's lead, I tend to use the carrier.

I'm using a Quinny buzz, but honestly use the sling (and now backpack) more.

I guess it depends on the kind of walking you do?

I have a slightly mad collie so we tend to go across fields and through woods where a pram just wouldn't work!

I use a Phil and Teds and love it. It's quite heavy though. I had no trouble getting it in the back of my ford mondeo with two labradors.

Babyjogger Summit XC. One handed fold is amazing and it also folds down really tight, especially if you pop the wheels off which is super-easy.

Handles beach, mud etc fine.

I use a mountain buggy terrain, comes with 12 and 16 inch wheels, handles anything. Easy fold, lay flat, can get car seat attachment and carrycot plus (recommended as can be flat, slight incline or parent facing)

I'll have two dogs by the time bean is born and all the walks are properly offroad i.e. grassy, narrow, muddy, rough etc

Totally read the title expecting this to be someone after a buggy or pram to put their dogs in.....! I have a weird neighbour who has one for her dog. Poor thing never gets a walk (no, no medical reason for the dog not to).

Anyway, no advice I'm afraid but happy dog walking!!

Nipper or baby jogger sumit xc, have used both and cant fault either for dog walking and difficult terrain.

I have a maxi cosi Mura 4, which seems v comfortable for DS but weighs a ton. That said, it copes pretty well with all but the muddiest conditions.

Most of the time now I use the sling to be honest, it's just more flexible. I have a Boba 4g, which should last until we no longer need it.

The pram is good in summer, when it's too hot to have a baby lashed to you! But in winter, a personal hot water bottle child in a sling is wonderful

I too was convinced you were going to be looking for a dog pram and was surprised so many people were giving suggestions including slings! I'm quite disappointed now

Nipper 360, I had a double and single and could managed them easily even with two dogs. We live rurally and easily tackled off road tracks, even ploughed fields! Fold down easily, fairly bulky but I used to take the wheels off and then no probs, they may be different now as I had the original versions!

Another vote for the nipper 360 here. It's virtually flat when you remove the quick release wheels. I've pushed mine up several fells, it's very light.

I just used a sling. Moby wrap when the DC were tiny then the ergo - made it much easier to splash through puddles and stomp along woodland do tracks! The uppababy vista was decent for less exciting walks but I wouldn't have done much off road with it

Out n about nipper 360. I've had loads of buggies and this is so light to push and hood off road. Slime the tyres to help avoid punctures. It has suspension and is so quiet to push. It's not terribly lightweight to lift but is to push. Otherwise we use a sling and back carry leaving both hands free.
