please have a look at puppy's eyes in this pic.

I am not sure if there is an infection/ disorder or if it is just that eyes are so black - i have had blue roan cockers before so maybe this is the difference

I'm neither a cocker owner nor a vet but those eyes definitely do not look right to me.

Is the pup yours? If so I'd be taking them to the vet as a matter of urgency, it's not worth taking any risks when it comes to eyes.

toboldlygo · 13/02/2017 12:35

Cocker owner, not vet - no, they do not look normal and the puppy needs to see a vet urgently. Micropthalmia?

BiteyShark · 13/02/2017 12:37

Nope they do not look right. Another call for taking puppy to vets asap.

Whitney168 · 13/02/2017 13:35

From just that one pic, I would assume they are slightly loose lower eye lids, with visible haws (third eyelids).

Looseness may tighten as the pup grows, haws will probably always be visible.

Is the pup from a reputable show breeder? What is their view?

greenberet · 13/02/2017 16:17

hi thanks for replies
it is a kc registered breeder - wanted some views on here before - previous dog had to have eye lift operation for drooping eyelids

But is it a reputable breeder? Do they show?
