Swelling under chin?

My Lurcher has a very soft swelling under his chin on his neck.
I will obviously be talking him to the vet first thing tomorrow and my vets are brilliant but does anyone have any experience of this?

I first noticed a day or two ago that he felt a bit fat under his chin but tonight it's much bigger and he yelped when my dd rubbed his head causing it to move I guess.

He seems fine otherwise, eating and drinking well, so I guess it could be an abscess - I really wish I hadn't googled lymphoma

He's just let me have a better feel and I think I can feel a puncture so hopefully it's just a reaction to that- this is worse than having children!

Poor doggy, hopefully just a scratch from something. Yes to seeing vet tomorrow..to rule out Alabama rot...there have been a few cases recently. Really hope it's nothing like that but worth checking. Good luck.

It seems to be a haematoma probably from playing rough- poor dog is now feeling poorly from upset tum which may be down to the anti inflammatory given to him yesterday. Two vet visits in two days and back again tomorrow or Monday depending how he is, I'm off to check my insurance policy!

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that setterlover. If I allow myself to think about it I'm scared but I'm really hoping it's a fuss about nothing.
He ate a light breakfast but has not eaten the chicken and rice I put out mid morning, he's gone to the coolest bedroom to sleep and his rear left leg seems to have a tremor - as he is a lurcher he would generally sleep all day so it's hard to tell how he's feeling really.
