After all the 'support' from mners to accept we are now a 4 dog family I have taken your comments on board!! Not to keep him permanently as I am sure a better home for him is out there somewhere-but to accept he needs us to have him in our family routine and to enrich his mh. My dd 11 and dd 10 have made a timetable to take him out every night at friendly dog walking time (mad making tea time for me) and document his behaviour on a chart!! The aim to make him less anxious and more accepting of other dogs-and maybe a future in a doggy household! Its only day 2 and he had a nice meet with a dog with waggy tail and no growl /bark!! He is also 'playing out' with our dogs daily!!
Virtual stars for his chart required!!
