Pug sore skin

My pug seems to have developed dry sore locking patches under his front legs. I'm wondering if the heating or time for a new harness? An allergy? Can anyone recommend a harness for a sturdy pug please?

Afraid I can't help with a harness suggestion, but we used this on our dog recently when he had a few sore patches. It was amazing!
