What type of dog do I have? Help please!

I'm curious to know what people think she looks like/ could be.
We know she's a mutt. But what makes up her component parts?
Some clues:
Approx size of a Cocker Spaniel
Silky feathery fur and very long plumes on her trail.
Obedient and smart.
Good recall.
Low prey instinct
Great retriever
Loves water (and mud)
Gentle but playful
Will walk miles buy happy at home
I think some sorrt of Spaniel for definite, other people think Collie?

I would guess a cocker- collie. If she came from Ireland very unlikely to not have some collie in there. JRT crosses are also extremely common.

Our family dog growing up was the spitting image but in brown and white and she was a collie X spaniel , she was born at Battersea and the people who had handed the pregnant bitch in had got the collie dad as well ( this was 47 yrs ago) .

The white patch on her chest suggests there may be some patterdale terrier in her somewhere (bit of a terrier look about her face too). Gorgeous doggy, whatever she is!

I'd say Working cocker/sprocker x with a small terrier a jrt or patter-dale maybe?
