Dog vom versus carpet - help!

Ddog has just been sick on our landing carpet. I've rinsed the area with warm soapy water and patted it dry, then sprayed it, but is there anything I can do about the inevitable brown stain? He'd been eating tripe shortly before so the vom was dark brown, sludgy and horrible (since you ask)

Sod's law it's happened 2 weeks before we leave a rented property... does anyone have any deposit-saving advice?

Hire a carpet cleaner?

Simple Solution stain and odour remover. Works on any type of biological stain and has never failed us!!

Thanks! Will try to get some Simple solution tomorrow, otherwise it's a steam cleaner I guess?

The best thing I've found was Dr Beckman carpet cleaner and that's after working my way through every other carpet cleaner on the market and housetraining two puppies at once...
