To not let her on the sofa?

She's a rescue labrador and clearly been allowed on the sofa where she's been before. We have a white leather sofa and she desperately wants to come up- I get those sad eyes, a paw and a head tilt every evening.

Do you let your dogs on the sofa?

When I agreed to a dog, I had 2 rules; not on the sofa and not in bedrooms. Neither rules lasted very long. He's just too fucking cute.

Given my time again, there's no fucking way I'd let dogs on the sofa (glares at lazy,snoring cockapoo on the sofa ON MY NEW CUSHION) and I only let him up when I say, but I am a soft touch really. Bed, not a chance until my DP gets drunk and says he doesn't want the dog to be lonely I can't see for a moment how it could possibly be called cruel.

I was absolutely definitely not going to let them on the sofa or beds. This is right now, and there certainly isn't another one in my bed right now!
