Kennel Cough

Think my dog has got kennel cough - intermittent cough for a few days that sounds dry and tough for him. Sorry this sounds really naive but I've had a quick Google and I'm not sure of the sensible course of action. Blue Cross page just said no need for Vet and it should clear up in 3 weeks. Shall I walk him but keep him away from other dogs? Is that about it?!

One of mine caught this years ago and had a miserable time , so I would try the vet and see what they say and more importantly check & see if it is actually kennel cough and not a cough from something else ( lots of problems including heart disease come with a cough) you definitely need to keep him away from others as it's very contagious
Hope he's better soon

I've always found KC to be more of honking type cough , you could always take him to the vet to check , let them know you think he may have it and then you can wait in the car with him or something .

I have used junior benalyn before to ease the symptoms.
As well as honey and water.
