Not picking up that poop. Sorry!

Hi all, I'm a very conscientious dog owner (honestly) and have always got pockets full of poop bags in most of my outfits.
My lovely pup (1yr old) has just zoomed off ahead of me (not too far to be honest but my legs are slow this morn) while out walking and i could see she was taking her daily dump.
I get to where she was after she had scuttled off and am confronted with this... not even any steam to give away the location!
Literally have been standing here for 15min trying to find the poop.
Anyone help? (Its like one of those memes... 'can you spot the cat'?)
Honestly I hate walking off empty handed ConfusedGrin

Not picking up that poop. Sorry!

Guarantee you will walk in it when you finally give up.

CMOTDibbler · 12/12/2016 12:13

Sometimes you just can't find them. Hence I pick up other peoples poo as karmic balance for mine!

ChocoChou · 12/12/2016 12:26

It's the Where's Wally of poops!

DickieBirdOut · 12/12/2016 12:29

Don't pick up to many poops. People will wonder why your little pup has had 8 great big poos.....

TheEmmaDilemma · 12/12/2016 12:34

Yeah give up. No one could blame you for that.

mintthins · 12/12/2016 12:37

I sometimes find that their own weight is enough to make them drop down underneath the top of the pile... I spend waaaay to much time trying to find poo in piles of leaves. I even picked up an extra 'cold' one by accident last week. I have no idea if I got all of the one I was looking for because Dhound can't do it standing still and so leaves a trail of little stinky gifts.

PleaseNotTrump · 12/12/2016 21:46

Take another one for Karma like pp said

Shriek · 12/12/2016 22:09

I took another for karma last week because at times I failed at the where's wally ddog poo game and this one was so huge and cold and right in the middle of everyone's way someone was definitely going toslide in it and i I always have children and elderly in my mind doing that which bothers me too much (yeah i know its shit for everyone but those particularly)

Shriek · 12/12/2016 22:11

Thanks for posting this as seeing so many kicking leaves and your photo captures it perfectly op!

Patriciathestripper1 · 12/12/2016 22:14

My dog once ate a strip of tinsel and when it came out the other end her poo was all sparkley. That would help you find it in the autumn/ winter😄

2legit2knit · 12/12/2016 22:14

I wandered around for ages once trying to find Ddogs poop. I could smell it, but I couldn't see it. Never did find it Blush (I have picked up every other poo she has ever done BTW!)

MimsyFluff · 13/12/2016 12:06

I had this at 23:30 on a grass verge 20cm square couldn't find it! --will step in it on our way home from school!

ChocoChou · 13/12/2016 12:18

My boy likes to squat as though he's doing a poo without actually doing anything. I wonder if he's just leaving a few drops of scent. Most embarrassing when someone has seen him look as though he's having a poo and I don't pick anything up. I definitely check, there's nothing there! Usually after he's done a couple of whoppers, which I have picked up, so I think his bowels are alright.

BrianCoxWithBellsOn · 13/12/2016 19:08

My girl is the same MsAdorabelle I find myself doing a dramatic "looking for poo" mime and then loudly say "oh, just a wee then eh!" 😂

I also thought, when recently faced with a pile of leaves and quite phantom poo, that I would take a photo and see if I could see it better on the pic. I couldn't, so I did a karma-poo-pick and then contemplated posting on Mumsnet. But I thought "nobody is that batshit crazy to post a leaf-poo picture on Mumsnet".

Clearly I underestimated my fellow vipers.
