how long after second injection before puppy can go out,i seem to be getting mixed messages?

It'll depend on which brand of vaccines he's had - what did your vet say?

havent got pup yet so i have not been to the vets,i have been told 2 weeks, 1 week, and straight away, just asking because i have one on order.

One on order?...um... I'm hoping you mean you've found a breeder and are waiting for a litter/till its old enough to leave, on order sounds, well...all kinds of wrong.

There's no set answer as it depends on the vaccine schedule for the vaccine used and different vets use different ones, they also sometimes tailor waiting times by how many cases of things like parvovirus there have been locally.

That's why you'll be getting different times, because people are given different times.

sorry i meant waiting till old enough to leave mother 6 weeks old at the moment.

Remember that even during the period immediately after their last vaccination they can still go out and about in your arms and it's really important to do this for socialisation. You definitely don't need to be housebound until the puppy can start going for proper walks.
