Looking after a family dog for the evening. Fireworks have started early in this area and she's curled up behind my back on the sofa breathing fairly heavily... she's not shaking or showing any signs of distress. Just wanting cuddles. Any tried and tested calming things? Turns out I'm better at soothing babies than pooches...
