Fleas again

My poor JRT who has a flea allergy seems to have picked up some fleas again. Although I keep him topped up he seems to only have to look at another dog to pick up 1 or 2 which only need to bite once before they die to give him a reaction :-(

Have just used the last pipettes of Advocate and before I get anymore I was wondering what people are using at the moment. I always get it on prescription either online or from the vet. More advocate? or is an oral treatment such as Bravecto more reliable?

2 cats and 2 dogs. We use Drontal for worming.

Thanks
