Dog bed

Hi!
We want to get our lovely adopted Border Terrier cross a new bed.

She came with a mattress style bed which is quite big considering the size of her, but she does love a sprawl out at times!

I was going to get a new mattress bed, but wondered if one with sides would be warmer as I worry about her getting cold at night. Any thoughts on which would be better? Like I say, she does like to stretch out...!

Our dog loves the Joules dog beds - she's a sprawled too so we tend to buy a size up. They're really nice!

I like medium height sided beds, often called bolster beds. There is some side but it is not high. That way the sides are low enough for the dog to spread out if they feel like it and they can also curl up as there are some sides. albeit low ones.

However, having sadly lost my two old babies this year, I have every style going from mattresses to really high sided oval beds. My new boy Spadge uses them all depending on his mood.
