Complete food

Can anyone recommend a better complete food than James well beloved?
My rescue dog was on that at the centre but she's not overly keen on it and I'd like to try something else.

Also do you mix canned dog food in with it too?

Arden Grange was one I used a lot until it was evident my dog had a rice allergy

I then used Fish4dogs

Complete dried food means you don't need to add any wet. But I used to. Makes it taste a bit more palatable

I use Millies Wolfheart ( ranger mix ) , they also do wet food so you can mix feed . My dog has done very well on it .

Millies Wolfheart is a good one. No fillers and you can choose the ratio of meat to veg dependent on your dogs requirements. The website is really helpful and you can order small sample bags to try before shelling out on a big bag. It's not cheap but a 12kg bag for £42 lasts our spaniel 2 months so pretty good value for money.

I feed the big dog AATU, I soak it over night so it goes further but he loves it. It's £50 from my local pet shop for a 10kg bag, not cheap but he's thriving on it. The little dog is 10 and has hardly any teeth so she's on a mix of bakers and chappie, not the best I know but she's not keen on AATU and I figure she's an old lady now so can have a bit of enjoyment in her old age

Another Millie's Wolfheart recommendation. We feed a mixture of countryside mix and salmon & veg.

We feed our dog Millie's wolfheart as well, riverside mix, 39ish kilo dog, bag lasts at least a month and he loves it. We like it because it doesn't make him fart!
