I have 2 dogs. Neither like the fireworks but one seeks comfort from us and is ok. The other is utterly petrified and takes days to be brave enough to go out in the dark. So if there are fireworks at Halloween she's just about over it when Bonfire Night arrives.
This is our 3rd firework season with her coming up. We've tried:
The herbal calmers
The plug in (can't remember the name)
The radio / tv on loudish
Diazepam from the vets
The diazepam possibly made her a little woozier but still petrified.
The only other thing I can think of is a thunder jacket but am worried it also won't work.
Any words of wisdom?
