German Shepherd Sore Paw

Hello
I have a six month GSD who appears to have hurt her paw . I and others have checked and it is not her pad, there are no pebbles or stones or thorns or anything at all in paw area . I rung the vet who cannot fit her in till Monday and didn't seem overly concerned. Anybody have any ideas what it may be ?
TIA

What makes you think it's the paw? Is she licking it? More often than not its a higher up injury involving e.g. carpus, elbow, shoulder, hip
etc. Could be a number of things from a minor strain to a developmental issue, especially as she's a young growing doc. No way to know until Monday I'm afraid. Keep her well rested in the meantime (easier said than done with a 6 month old though!). Hopefully it will have resolved by then though :)

Hello . No not licking but lifting it up and holding it and she is limping .

Thank you and yes she is doing plenty of resting , sat in the sunshine at the moment :)

Vet said she has strained a muscle and gave her a anti inflammatory injection and to get her to rest it as much as possible .
