Our 4 year old cocker was an outside dog but a couple of months ago he started crying at night so we brought him in. He has never gone in the house but last night he did. I'm thinking i should bleach the floor so there is no scent left but is there anything else i should do. I think i screwed up his routine by sitting in the kitchen doing up new laces and did not let in go again before i left him. tia

Don't use bleach it smells like urine to dogs , I was once told to use bio washing powder to cover the scent but I just use normal floor cleaner if our dog has an accident
