and he was spellbound.

How have you convinced your dog that you are, in fact, a goddess?

Must try this!

Does your dog speak Welsh?

BestIsWest · 06/09/2016 08:19

Yes! Yes! I sang the whole of 'Thank You For The Music' to mine and he loved it.

He also loves 'His name is Leo and he dances for a bone' to the tune of Rio by Duran Duran.

I will try the Welsh National anthem later. (Both me and the dog are Welsh).

He is the only person who appreciates my singing.

Same here Best - I am completely tone deaf or at least, to human ears.

He was so moved. He was lying half across my lap and he looked up at me with wide eyes and a softened expression with his mouth wide open.

He doesn't speak Welsh, but I think he got the gist. He was practically tearing up.

Grin at 'Leo and he dances for a bone'!

I have just tried singing "God Save Our Gracious Queen". DDog 1 was unmoved but Ddog2 was obviously deeply concerned for my welfare. Clearly my tone deafness extends to canine ears Sad

Bless him. It can be very emotional hearing the anthem. Hiraeth and all that.

BestIsWest · 06/09/2016 09:45

I don't speak Welsh but Leo was bred in a Welsh speaking home and learned all his early commands in Welsh. He still responds better to 'Dere 'ma' better than 'come'. The anthem may be too much for him.
