Dog-sitting over Christmas - how much do you pay?!

I've just been quoted £30 per day for my dog to be looked after in my home over the Christmas week, by a pet-sitting company.

I don't mind paying it; as long as they look after her well, it's worth it to me, as I think a kennel would stress her out. Was just expecting it to be a bit cheaper, tbh.

What do you pay, out of curiosity? Smile

I used to do house sitting. My base rate was £25/day which included one hour walk, any extra walks were £5 each. I charge double on Xmas day and Boxing Day and 50% more on Xmas eve.

You've got a bargain there!

My business also offers one-to-one home boarding which costs the same as above.
