What's my dog made of? Any ideas? Pics shown.

She is as good as gold. Bomb proof as well, not fussed with loud noises etc. Got her 4 months ago from a rescue as a crossbreed. She is medium sized and had a longish coat which moulted off to a short coat. Chases and brings back ball religiously. Very acrobatic. Well trained. Affectionate. Found as a stray.

We love her. Any ideas of breed? Just out of interest really...

Jack Russell. A bit beagley too.

JRT face for sure! How broad is she at the front?? Maybe a touch of staffie??

Looks like there's some Jack Russell in there looks wise but her height, tail and body shape suggests something else too. She looks happy, whatever she is

She is quite slight rather than broad at the front. Thanks for the compliments she is a beaut. Interesting someone said beagle and collie too. Definite contenders.

Jack Russell plus something a bit taller. Her tail looks like it could be collie, which would fit with the ball retrieving obsession and the double moulting coat. She would probably love agility training.

And yes to Jack Russell, agree with that.

She's lovely! Face is very JRT. I would hazard a guess at Jack Russell x Collie. Happens often on farms

Beautiful Girl, her body & rear end remind me a little bit of our Whippet, but I doubt that, but could be some other sight hound like a Saluki?

I would agree she could have some Beagle in there, & (or) JRT.

My neighbor had this mix and she is almost identical to their dog! he too was a ball addict and spent many happy hours bringing his ball to the fence for us to throw it across the garden for him

His name is Basil, he's nearly 18 now and still going strong although his famous first bounce ball catching skills are a bit hit and miss these days!

Came on to say Jack Russell X Collie, and read that others had said the same.
Lovely dog: how sad to think of her straying, but she looks so happy now, out and about with her new family.
We have a rescue dog and, just out of interest, had a DNA test done when it was offered at our vets; you could enquire about that if you wished.
Whatever she is, she's a gorgeous dog.
