Diarrhoea in 1 year old Cav

My one year old cavalier King Charles seems to have the most sensitive stomach, I haven't seen him eat anything dodgy but for the last 2 days he has alternate normal poo and then really bad diarrhoea.

He was fine yesterday and we had a day out with him.

He ate a bit of breakfast today but didn't want dinner so I've taken his food up as a number of websites say to fast them if they have any upset stomach. He's very cuddly as though he is needing to be committed and he is licking his lips a lot but he's not been sick.

Is there anything else I can do? Do I just need to see if it will pass?

I have found boiled rice and chicken to be very good for settling a delicate stomach. Hope your dog feels better soon.
