Puppy overnight

I have a 10 week old zuchon (aka mongrel). He goes to bed when we do at 10:30 ish and we don't hear him until 6:30 ish. A couple of times he hasn't gone to the loo in the house but most times he has.

This morning we set the alarm for 6 to try and get to him before he went to the loo but we were too late (2 wees) despite him not waking us. Presumably he's waking in the night and going quietly.

Should we be getting him up halfway through the night to go outside? Or just accept that he can't hold it quite yet and continue to leave him overnight incase he is sleeping?

We got up with our dpup everyone hour and a half during the night for the first night. And then stretched it to 2 and did it like that.

At first it took a bit to settle her again. After about a week to 10 days she stopped going at all during the night.

We got her at 11 weeks though. So she was a bit older.

We have a shih tzu poodle cross, we got him at nine weeks, we never had to take him out in the night but dh would do last wee about midnight and I would do first wee at 6am. Could you stretch making the last wee later?
Eric was fully house trained by eleven weeks and we had stopped the midnight wee by then. Nowadays, depending on the weather, he goes up to eleven hours between wees overnight.

Forgot to ask where puppy is sleeping?

He's in the kitchen so has access to a large kitchen diner and utility. He was originally in the utility but got quite wound up if left alone. He's much happier being able to see the hallway. I haven't got a crate because I just don't see myself using it. Floor is all tiled so accidents are easily cleaned.

Will try 12 and 6. Don't fancy getting up in the middle of the night if it can be avoided!

Eric was never crated either but house trained easily, dh spent the first night downstairs with him but he was settled so didn't bother after that. It helped that dh is a night owl and I'm awake at the crack of dawn so it didn't feel like a hardship.
