Teeth scaling and polishing

Just wondering how much does this cost?
What good and bad experiences have people had?

Can this be done at home?
My dog is completely fine with his teeth and mouth being touched, and I used to be a dental hygienist.

Unfortunately dogs will no cooperate with opening wide. To do a really good job and get that sub gingival tartar which causes the real problems they need to be anaesthetised. Prices will depend on area and size of dog.

One of my little dogs had a scale & polish, with two extractions, in April this year. It cost £295.

My dog had clean & polish a few months ago, cost me £36, no extractions, but it included bloods as well.

Sorry, that should be £361 not £36. I wish.
