Outdoor pressure gate

We have a long passageway that runs along the back our house. It is from our garden to our back gate and is L shaped iyswim.

I want to put a gate up to keep the dog from going down the side. As brick wall runs along one side and wooden fencing on the other, I would prefer a pressurised gate.

Are indoor ones suitable for outdoor use, as these are the only pressure ones I ca find.

Yes mum had one in her passage. May get a bit rusty but yes they work fine 😊

Thank you TheFlyingFauxPas. I suppose thinking about it even proper outdoor gates get rusty anyhow over time.

Besides they are not expensive to replace anyway.
