Puppy safe Kong recipes?

After advice from loads of people we bought a Kong for the puppy to keep him occupied which he loves. I initially bought the kong puppy filler but it's stupidly expensive. We've also been putting kibble etc inside but he quickly learnt how to knock it out in 30 seconds.
After looking on pintrest it seems there are loads of kong recipes out there but can anyone suggest any puppy friendly ones? I'm not sure how good honey /cream cheese etc can be for a young pup?

Peanut butter and ham:)

Peanut butter (but make sure it's not for xylitol in it as its toxic to dogs, and not too much as the safe stuff has a lot of sugar)

Banana (can also be mixed with PB)

A also use squeeze pouched of baby food (though make sure it has no onions, many do).

Another tip is to freeze the King so that it takes longer to empty.

i use a puppu wet food and freeze it

We use natural peanut butter. Smear it in it and freeze it.

Our dpup figured out how to get biscuits out instantly too.

My dog loves natural yoghurt with a bit of mashed up banana and peanut butter to seal the ends - we pop it in the freezer and it keeps him very happy

Another winner was to buy tongue (really cheap from the deli counter at a supermarket) chop it into chunks and then mash it into the kong, packing it quite tight. It easily mashes into a pulp that's really hard to lick out and so takes ages. That's still my dog's favorite now and can take her 10 minutes hard work.

A really simple one is to smear a little pate around the whole of the inside with your finger (look for a light and not a rich one, Tescos cheap brussels or tuna pate works well). That takes a while to lick out while not being hard on the tummy.

I put eggs in mine sometimes. Cook them in a bowl in the microwave for a minute, mix with natural yoghurt and then spoon it in to the Kong. Leave to cool and freeze it overnight. I put cheese in too, left over dinner (sausages, beans, pasta)

Basically freezing them is the way forward. Much harder for the dog to get the stuff out. I've got about 6/7 kongs so I always have a couple frozen and ready to give them if I'm going to be out for a while.

Our dog trainer suggested squeeze cheese, it's usually £1
