What's your best toy for a 10 month old Labrador???

That's it really! Our 10 month old lab doesn't seem to take interest in his huge box of toys and I'm looking for recommendations from you lovely lot!! He loves his antler & I've tried old plastic bottles but he just prowls around looking for things he shouldn't have!!! (While writing this he's just got a pair of rubber gloves!!!!??)
Any suggestions very welcome!!!!!

My lab is only interested in toys if someone plays with him, he might chew on his tuggie when he's on his own but mostly ignores all his toys until someone picks one up and talks to him (doesn't have to be a toy, piece of carboard will do..) and then he gets very excited and starts leaping about. I think most labs are the same as they're "people dogs" Smile.

Thank you - will try and tire him out a bit doing that!!

Mine love the extreme kong toys filled with paste of some type. I Also have the kong tyres which they like.

We also have some beaver thing from pets at home made from fire hose material which has actually lasted a few months which is a record in our house! It has squeakers and they love trying to rip it up!

Final toy that has stayed alive for more than a month is the boomer ball, they love that and play with it for hours!

Mine liked antlers but we found he was demolishing them quite quickly. We were recommended a buffalo horn and he's still got it months later. It smells a bit more than an antler too.

Brilliant - thanks so much!! Will try all ideas!! I saw the buffalo horns and wondered about that so good tip!!

I find that it if need a half hour break from my very loving Labrador, a Kong with smooth peanut butter smeared in all the hard to reach areas works v well.

Kong Wubbas are good, but you might have to make it exciting for him by randomly shaking and throwing it for him. Our current Wubba is doing well and regularly gets an outing from behind the sofa to be tossed about or presented as a treasured, if a little spitty, gift.

My labradors love toys but can demolish them in minutes. Anything with a squeeker is history!
Currently they have a bag of connection fittings for white plastic drain pipes. Almost indestructible - and they keep them entertained for hours!!

Yes a Kong with peanut butter is a favourite here! Will investigate the Wubbas too! Love the idea of plastic connection fittings too!!!

Couple dog biscuits in plastic bottle keeps him busy for ages trying to get them out
