How long to starve prior to spaying - URGENT.

Hi.
Dd going for spaying tomorrow. She is nearly 7 but was never done.
Vet said to starve prior to Op.
I've lost the info and Vets have no helpline open.

Is it no food after 8pm (taking her in at 8am)???

(she weighs 30kilos in case it's relevant).

What about water?

Glad she's home and has some interest in food. It takes time after a long anaesthetic. Offering light foods in small amounts more often is usually the best way to go.
