I must have looked at hundreds just looking for the 'right' dog collar for my boy.

Can anyone recommend a brand for a nice fabric one?

What type of dog do you have?

I've got a couple of house collars and a martingale from Silver Peacock and they are just beautiful. I use the martingale with the lead and it has lasted 4 years so far.

I bought some lovely ones from Meggie Moo.

Jeremysfavouriteaunt · 29/06/2016 18:02

They do Liberty prints and Harris tweed. I am going to posh up my Cyprus rescue dog when she arrives too.

BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 29/06/2016 18:12

I swear by the Indigo dog tags and these. They are indestructible and come in pretty colours..... Don't jingle either. I found about them here on MN.

Red Dingo are pretty robust. They have nice patterns and the buckle is bone shaped

GloGirl · 29/06/2016 19:01

Wyld, I love Red Dingo and it's what he's had since he was a puppy but I fancied a pattern and none of the Red Dingo ones were quite right.

He's a blonde scrappy cockapoo. I think I fancy something in a deep blue

Ann Rees collars are lovely quality and last forever. They're not patterned so might not be quite what you're after but they come in some gorgeous colours and the padded ones especially look great.

I've also had some lovely ones from Silver Peacock in the past.

Ruffwear waterproof collar are good for dogs that roll in nasty stuff. They can be scrubbed to remove the smell.

Scuttlebutter · 30/06/2016 23:46

Our greyhounds wear Meggie Moo, proudly so. She is the only collar manufacturer that I'm aware of that regularly safety tests her collars in a lab, as well as using gorgeous fabrics, and supporting rescues. Her quality is excellent.

Our lurcher wears Lupine Designer as she's a water (and swamp!) lover and is constantly getting wet/muddy. They are superb quality, tough, fast drying and look very attractive.

LilCamper · 01/07/2016 07:53

Have a look on the Rogz website.

Jeremysfavouriteaunt · 01/07/2016 13:43

scuttle I love the Christmas holly ones too.
I didn't realise that she supported rescues too, that's even more reason to buy from there.

Daftaboutthecat · 02/07/2016 15:45

I've just ordered a hounds of Eden one if you like Harris Tweed you will love these. My partner isn't going to be pleased when I show him the matching bow tie that --accidently made its way into my order 🙈

LimeJellyHead · 06/07/2016 10:03

This one's really pretty, Glo www.dfordog.co.uk/handmade-dog-collar-birds-bees.html More a sunny blue than deep blue but the design is too cute Smile

I'm totally in love with these soft faux suede ones too... here's a blue one www.dfordog.co.uk/luxury-suedette-blue-dog-collar.html

CMOTDibbler · 09/07/2016 18:41
