Dodgy bowel movements!

So we took my dog away on holiday last weekend (8 days ago) and we were on the beach. She drank sea water as she paddled which we commanded her not to, but you know... They do as they please. I knew this would cause some bowel issues, and I was right. That night she pooped watery horrid puddles over our floor. Bleugh.

Now our dog is a seriously good dog. She is 7, and toilet trained. We can trust her to go for hours without pooping in the house. But ever since we got back it is like she saving all her poop for indoors! She isn't going when she has the chance outside. Instead, we are waking up to poop in the house. Usually soft poop, but not watery any more. She just chooses a random room and goes. It's getting out of hand now. I'm annoyed as it stinks. I'm pregnant and it's like my body will not let me go near poop without wretching and being sick!

What is going on with her? Why won't she go on command outside like she used to? Why every single night is she pooping in the house? I don't think she has an infection, or even diorreah.

Sorry, no advice but you might want to repost in the doghouse rather than the litter tray...

We've done that for you now, OP!
