I have working sheepdogs. Always had bitches but recently got a dog. He's young but looks like he will be a brilliant worker.
I don't really want to get anyone neutered as I will probably breed from the dog and I don't want the bitch to change - temperament/weight gain etc.
Is it feasible to separate when the bitch is in heat? Or has anyone used to injection for male dogs?
