my dog is afraid of children, what should I do?

she was chased in the woods by some children, until their mum managed to stop them,
now she is afraid of them.
she is small and feels nervous of their unpredictability I guess.
She is also not good with puppies, due to same reason, same with bouncy retriever type dogs.
Should I give her a bit of cognitive behavioural therapy? ie, hang around the school gates

better just to find someone with well behaved children for her to meet.

you can aldo get one of those yellow jackets/harnesses with "i need space" on them. Hopefully the fuckeit parents will kerp their kids away then.
