pet log 😠 anyone managed to get through?

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get through to this bloody company and register a dog?
My dm has been phoning this premium rate number to register her dog since bloody April! She goes through the options and then gets put on hold for five minutes only to then be CUT OFF

I've tried doing it online for her but it kept saying my email was invalid. After numerous attempts it finally accepted my email but then when I went to confirm it, it said it didn't match the first email address I put (even though it's identical) and I can't find an email address on their website, only the number my dm has already been trying.

How annoying. I wonder if they've a Facebook page. You might find that they respond quicker to that! I assume Petlog is the microchipping company? Mine was all done through my vet's, so maybe worth a call to them? Hope you get it sorted.

I used to work for them years ago. They're an awful company and chronically understaffed. They've just lost another batch of employees as apparently they've gotten even worse (didnt think it was possible!).

If you contact your vet they should have a form you can fill in and send to them instead of phoning. (Although my knowledge is about 5 years out of date)

Your vet's practice software may be able to link directly to the database, if so then it should be very quick for them to do

I have just logged our new dog with PetTrac - that was pretty painless...he's from Romania so I had to print off special form and post it in, but when I called to check I was doing the right thing they answered immediately...

I don't think it matters which one you go through, if petlog are rubbish vote with your feet!

Thank you all for your replies, I really appreciate it ☺ I ended up contacting the vets again and explained the whole saga to them and thankfully they managed to sorted it out for us
