Should I bathe him again?

DH took the dog to the groomer at the weekend, usual place, different groomer .
Since he game home, poor dog is really scratching. DH commented on how perfumed the poor mite smelt.

Should I bath him in something else to get rid of the perfumed strong wash I'm guessing he used or leave it to settle down?
And if someone else, what would you suggest?

Maybe give him a really good rinse with just water first? He may have some residue of shampoo/conditioner not rinsed out thoroughly.
