What breed is this dog?

Considering (dreaming about and over thinking) adopting this gorgeous dog. Rescue says whippet cross - any ideas what the "cross" is? I was thinking there might be a bit of staffie in him (mainly because there is staffie in pretty much all dogs around here!) But evidently something hairy too.. Any thoughts?

Nope, doesn't matter at all. I've just sent off and enquiry email and waiting to hear back but can't stop thinking about him - pathetic really!

He looks like he might have some staff in the mix.

I would say a bull lurcher (where the lurcher bit is a whippet as he is quite small.)
The blunter nose (rather than a pointy one) suggests 'staffy'

He looks like he may have some scruffy terrier in.
If you get him you can have a DNA profile done to check!!

He does look a bit hairy and terrierish:) but those ears definitely look like Staffy ears, the eyes too I think.

Bull lurcher with a bit of patterdale maybe? That wouldn't be a hugely unlikely cross.

His snout looks staffyish, but I also thought some sort of wiry-haired terrier from his coat. He looks cute! I love scruffy dogs
