I'm after a harness that's really easy to use

my DM is coming to stay while we go away at Easter and although I have a dog walker and friends lined up for park runs, DM will probably take the dog for a street walk.
She's no spring chicken (my mum, not the dog) and although the dog walks perfectly by my side, he might try it on with my mum.
So, I'd like to get a harness for him but it will need to be one that goes on and off very easily.

Can anyone recommend one please? TIA

We use a Doxlock harness , the easiest thing in the world to get on / off yet my dog has never escaped from it and he has escaped from others ,

IMO a harness enables a dog to pull more effectively. A heacollar might be a better option but would need some work before DM arrives to acclimatise him to it.

Thanks for the replies. He's a Tibetan terrier, weighs about 11kilos.
The harness is more to stop DM putting too much pressure on his neck if he does try and pull ahead of her. She'll be walking slower than I would walk.
I'm probably worrying for nothing. He walks perfectly by my side but I'm trying to think ahead and have measures in place just in case.

You want a Puppia harness - I have a few for my dog & they are fab, come in lovely colours & patterns, you just slip over the dogs head & then clip round the middle. I get mine from Pet London but you can get them on eBay etc. Really comfy for the dog & impossible for them to get off.

Also if the dog pulls it spreads the pressure over the chest/shoulders rather than the neck so they aren't choking.

I have a ruffwear harness that I'm really pleased with. It slips over the head and then clips around the waist. It has the benefit of the option to clip the lead to the front so if the dog pulls they just get turned around to face you instead.
