Dog has bitten into aerosol deodorant can - should I be worried?

Just that really. He grabbed my deodorant, pierced it, lots of hissing and can flying round the floor.
Have rinsed out his mouth and he seems ok, but should I refer him to the vet?
He is snorting a bit.

Said there was nothing poisonous but it could definitely irritate. Said just to keep an eye on him and call back if worried. Have bathed him, making sure plenty of water got in his mouth. He is still snorting a bit but seems ok otherwise.

Poor little chap

Must have given him quite a shock when he bit into it and it hissed back at him.
